I Love You, Man
Director: John Hamburg
Writer: John Hamburg, Larry Levin
2009
There really isn’t a lot to say about this film. Yes, Paul Rudd is funny, but not as funny as he is with an entire cast of funny people as in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Rudd flourishes in a group, on his own he is not ready for leading comedic man status. This film did however, have some funny moments (most of which were in the trailer) but more of the time I was left thinking “why is this scene dragging on and on? They seem like they’re ad libbing but it’s not funny. Why won’t someone say ‘cut’?” I went into this film with medium hopes and I should have went into it with lower hopes because then I would not have been disappointed.
