Cinephile At Large

I saw on the news that Zhang Yimou is going to remake the Coen brothers film Blood Simple. First, I think it’s about time that American films be remade by foreign directors since it is usually the other way around with Hollywood taking ideas from other films. Secondly, I can’t wait to see his version! The Coen film is pretty good but I have higher hopes for Zhang Yimou’s interpretation. 

And I am now aware that people are actually finding this site and enjoying it, so I will do my best to keep everyone interested!
