Dead Heat (1988)
Treat Williams as a cop who turns into a zombie but still works the case with his partner, played by Joe Piscopo. And did I mention Treat Williams’ character name is Roger Mortis. This is a crazy, silly film but an early zombie comedy.
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
This film was such a break out hit because it combined the sentimentalities of a romantic comedy with the hilarity of zombies and remains one of my favourite zombie films. Who said zombies must always be serious and scary?
Zombieland (2009)
This film opens on October 2nd so it’s a perfect way to cap off Zombie Films month. If you’re a fan of zombies, or a fan of all things funny you should see this one.
