The Longest Day (1962)
This film covers everything about D-Day and I mean everything. It surrounds the events that unfolded that day from the point of view of the allied forces as well as the Germans. In this film you get the whole story, unbiased, from both sides and that makes it great.
Come and See (1985)
This is a must see film for everyone. It tells the story of the loss of innocence of a young boy living in war torn Belarus during WWII where the atrocities and horrors of the German invasion scar his soul and steal his childhood
Good (2008)
Good is a little-known film that everyone should see. It centers around the German people during WWII and shows that not everyone who joined the fight against the allies was a Nazi or insane, instead the film shows us good people who feel the contradiction of their involvement in promoting German society and national socialism.
Miracle at St. Anna (2008)
Spike Lee’s WWII film centers around the story of four black American soldiers who become trapped in a Tuscan village and must fight off the invading Germans. Spike Lee has done a superb job with this film.
